Tree valuations

Assessing how much a tree or tree population is worth can help owners, or others, determine important a tree is. This can assist in a number of different areas such as asset management, compensation, considering planning and tree works applications and designing redevelopment schemes.

There are a variety of different valuation methods such as CAVAT (Capital Asset Value for Amenity Trees), the stem replacement methodology and the Visual Amenity Value of Trees and Woodland (the Helliwell system).
