Tree inspection training

Guy is a Lantra accredited trainer delivering courses in tree inspection.

Lantra is a Sector Skills Council supporting skills and training for people and businesses in the land-based and environmental sector. It is an independent UK organisation owned and managed by those industries working with employers and the UK’s governments to address skills and productivity needs.

Its subsidiary body Lantra Awards specialises in environmental and land-based qualifications and has a network of over 500 registered training providers and instructors whom are quality assured to organise and deliver training courses. Lantra Awards is a nationally recognised Awarding Organisation with over 40 years of experience offering a diverse range of training and qualifications. All of products are quality assured within the industry.

Guy can arrange and deliver specific tree inspection training to corporate bodies, Local Authorities, training providers or any other groups who may have a need for this service. Two courses are available;

Basic Tree Survey and Inspection.

A one day attendance course for non arboriculturists so they can understand the need for tree inspection, their role in a systematic process and identify trees that may need specialist consideration. This reflects current guidance from both the HSE and the National Tree Safety Group as part of a defendable tree management process.

Professional Tree Inspection.

A three day integrated training and assessment course. Designed for professional arboriculturists to ensure and demonstrate their capability in tree inspection. Builds on a pre existing knowledge and develops a proven and tested tree inspection methodology. This qualification has rapidly become a benchmark for tree inspectors both in the UK and further afield.
